Last week we went to Gijón where LABoral Art Center had organized an exhibition called GameWorld and a series of workshops focused on the video-game world. One of the workshops was about Game Boy music. Glomag, Bubblyfish, Rabato and ourselves Yes, Robot showed the inwards of LSDJ and Nanoloop. Workshop was two days long and ended with a Live show where Entter joined us to do the visual art.
Here, the pictures I took with the Game Boy Camera:
We arrived to Gijón on wednesday morning and after lunchtime we were invited to the Asturias radio station to do a live interview and play some songs to promote the workshop and the show.

From the control booth, Rabato rocked all Asturias with his LSDJ loaded Game Boy.

Then Bubblyfish did the same using Nanoloop.

Some pictures from the workshop. The place was amazing and it was very well equipped.

We met Lionel, who had done the 8-bit Generation documentary and who is now working on a new one. He is a really nice guy and came with us during all the workshop and show time; he and his camera.

Meal times are great for making panoramas.
Dinner at El Globo.
The first try didn’t work at all:

Second try, not that bad:

Third try, better:
“Mario, esa mano no va ahí.”

Lunch at El Cruce.
I couldn’t make it better than this:

So I tried an animation…

…and got this shot of Chris :)

Here come the pictures from the shows. Entter were on all of them. Two hours of complete 8-bit visual madness!!!
Glomag Live!

Rabato Live!

Bubblyfish Live!

Notice Lionel with his camera in that last one animation.
At the backstage room after the shows I tried another panorama…

…and got this shot of Ramiro and Mario:

Just before leaving to the airport. We all took our last pictures, we made kind of a camera fight.

Last picture, Ramiro and me:
